Thank you for being part of Beech Brook’s foster care community. The care, stability, and compassion you provide make a meaningful difference in the lives of children every day. We’re here to support you with guidance, resources, and connection throughout your fostering journey.

You're not alone.

Foster parenting can be both rewarding and challenging, and you don’t have to do it alone. Beech Brook specializes in therapeutic foster care and works alongside foster parents to provide training, clinical consultation, and ongoing guidance. Together, we help children who have experienced trauma feel safe, supported, and understood—while ensuring foster parents feel confident, prepared, and supported every step of the way.

Foster Parents are required to complete a minimum of 45 hours of continuing training every two years. Beech Brook offers classes that follow the State of Ohio’s rules for licensing foster parents as well as the specialized training needed to understand childhood trauma and provide a therapeutic and healing home environment. Training can be completed in person, virtually/live synchronous or independently.

Beech Brook Ongoing Training Options
