When youth are struggling, Beech Brook is here.
Did you know that 1 in 5 youths experience a mental health concern each year? Early diagnosis and treatment can make a lifelong difference.
There are many reasons why families seek outpatient services. Their children may be having behavior problems at school or at home. They may have experienced trauma or loss or family conflicts.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), behavior problems, anxiety and depression are the most commonly diagnosed mental health problems in children.

College is a big adjustment for most students. It's also a tremendous achievement, especially for students in the College Now program! They've taken a big step forward on their journey to success in life.
But even with scholarships, financial aid, advisors and mentors, some students need additional mental health support once they enter post-secondary education. They may be experiencing anxiety, depression and other life stressors that can get in the way of their studies.
That's why College Now has turned to Beech Brook for brief, solution-focused therapy to help students manage those feelings and stay on track.
Beech Brook's telehealth services, including assessment, therapy and case management, are currently available to College Now students at any of Ohio's post-secondary institutions. (Students enrolled in out-of-state programs or taking online courses are also eligible but must be physically located in Ohio at the time of the services.)
For referral access or more information, students should contact their College Now Mentor.
It takes many partners who share our vision of a future where every child and family thrives to keep our mission alive.
