Build stronger communication at home.
Healthy relationships are the foundation of family stability. These classes provide practical tools and supportive conversations that help caregivers strengthen relationships, manage conflict, and create more supportive homes for their children.
Healthy relationships don’t always come naturally—especially when families are navigating stress, co-parenting challenges, or busy schedules.
These classes provide practical tools parents can use right away to strengthen relationships and create more stability at home.

Participants learn how to:
✔ Communicate more clearly and respectfully
✔ Navigate disagreements in healthier ways
✔ Recognize healthy and unhealthy relationship patterns
✔ Build trust and emotional safety in their families
✔ Model healthy relationships for their children
Healthy Relationships classes are not therapy or counseling sessions. They are practical, supportive classes where parents and caregivers can learn new skills, share experiences, and connect with others in a welcoming environment.
✔ No partner required to attend
✔ Free and open to the community
✔ Practical tools you can use right away
✔ Led by experienced facilitators
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re looking to strengthen an existing relationship or simply want to learn healthier communication skills.

Learn more about how healthy relationships support family stability
Do I need to attend with my partner?
No. Many participants attend on their own.
Is there a cost to attend?
No. These classes are offered free of charge!
What if I'm not currently in a relationship?
You’re still welcome. The skills taught in this class apply to many types of relationships—including co-parenting, family relationships, and future partnerships.
Is this counseling or therapy?
These are educational classes focused on practical relationship skills.
Do I have to share personal details in the class?
No. While discussion is encouraged, participants can choose how much they want to share. Many people prefer to listen and learn from others.
How can this class help my children?
Children learn about communication, respect, and conflict by watching the adults around them. When caregivers strengthen their relationship skills, children often experience less stress at home and gain healthier examples of how relationships work.
Will the class tell us what we’re doing wrong?
No. The goal of the class is to provide tools and ideas that help strengthen communication and relationships in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
Is this only for couples who are having problems?
Not at all. Many parents attend simply because they want to improve communication, strengthen co-parenting relationships, or learn new tools for managing stress and conflict.
Why does Beech Brook offer Healthy Relationships classes?
Beech Brook believes strong families begin with strong relationships. By helping caregivers build healthier communication and conflict-resolution skills, we help create more stable homes where children can grow and thrive.
It takes many partners who share our vision of a future where every child and family thrives to keep our mission alive.
