Beech Brook Presents: “Parenting Beyond the Screen”
In an age where technology plays an integral role in our daily lives, parents face the ever-evolving challenge of guiding their children safely through the digital landscape. To address this critical need and empower parents with the knowledge and tools necessary to foster safe, educational, and healthy online experiences, we are excited to introduce Beech Brook’s new virtual parenting series: "Parenting Beyond the Screen."
This new series aims to equip parents with the knowledge they need to navigate the digital world with confidence. Topics will include online safety, cultivating healthy digital habits, and nurturing strong family relationships in the digital age. Classes are being developed and taught by Beech Brook’s Assistant Clinical Director, Rachel Humphrey, LISW-S.
There are two opportunities to participate with more classes in development:
Part 1: Building a Tech-Resilient Generation
Date: Wednesday, October 25
Part 2: Power of Relationships: Talking Online Safety
Date: Wednesday, November 29
Each session will offer two time slots to accommodate busy schedules:
Cost of the classes: $15 for one class, $25 for both Part 1 and Part 2
All classes will be recorded and a link to the recording will be sent to everyone who registers, ensuring that parents can access the valuable content at their convenience.
