This January, Beech Brook is proud to join Ohio Children’s Alliance in honoring Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service through a heartfelt campaign that provides essential supplies to young parents with foster care or kinship care backgrounds across Ohio.

Diapers and wipes may seem simple — but for families just beginning their parenting journey, they’re vital to keeping babies healthy, comfortable, and thriving. Many young parents lack the financial support and community resources that others often take for granted. By coming together in service, we can help lift some of that burden and affirm these families with care and dignity.

How the Drive Works

As part of this statewide effort, community members can support families in two meaningful ways:

Donate Through Regional Amazon Wish Lists
Choose the Northeast Ohio region, add diapers and wipes to your cart, and ship items directly to Beech Brook.

Make a Drop-Off Donation In Person
Prefer to give locally? You can bring diapers and wipes to Beech Brook’s designated drop-off site for Northeast Ohio and other regional partner agencies listed on the drive page.

Why This Matters

Diaper need isn’t just about convenience — it’s about health, dignity, and opportunity. Without access to enough diapers and wipes:

  • Families face increased stress and financial strain.
  • Infants can experience discomfort and risk of rashes or infections.
  • Caregivers may struggle to meet childcare requirements of a steady diaper supply.

By contributing to this drive, you’re directly helping young families to focus on connection, growth, and stability — not just survival.
