In-Kind Contributions

Gifts do not have to be monetary. Families in need require all kinds of help to support their everyday needs. At Beech Brook, we gratefully accept any gift you can make to help those in need.

Donate Items for our Children & Families

Whether it be kids in foster care, parents facing the struggles of living in poverty, or just families going through a hard time,   Beech Brook currently is seeking items listed on our wish list for our families and we sincerely appreciate your generosity to help meet these basic needs. Thank you.

Please check this page periodically, because we adjust the Wish List based on the needs of our clients and the gifts we receive.

Host a Gift Drive

Your company, community center, church, or your circle of friends can host a gift drive that will benefit the children served by Beech Brook.

To get started, simply distribute the wish list to those participating in the gift drive. Contact Heidi Lang at hlang@beechbrook.org or 216.831.2255 for more details.

Donate Auction Items

• Gift certificates and gift baskets from restaurants, spas, shops and other providers of goods and services
• Jewelry
• Signed sports memorabilia
• Airline tickets, vacation rentals, hotel stays and other travel-related items

Donate Real Estate

Gifts of appreciated property typically qualify for an immediate tax deduction and result in the avoidance of tax on appreciation. Property gifts can include personal residences, second homes, income property and vacant land.

The amount of the deduction for a contribution of real estate is normally valued at the current market value of the property. You should always consult with a financial professional or lawyer with regard to the tax implications of any gift.

Donations are deductible for income tax purposes to the extent allowed by law. The IRS does not allow us to place values on your donations.

Volunteering

Beech Brook is always looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers to assist with the planning and implementation of our special events, including the Beech Brook 5K Race and 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk or our Spring Fundraiser.
