"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."
There are many ways you can help Beech Brook. Find out how you can get involved.
Gifts do not have to be monetary. Families in need require all kinds of help to support their everyday needs. At Beech Brook, we gratefully accept any gift you can make to help those in need.
In-kind donations include gifts such as school supplies, toys, toiletries, electronics and clothing. Gift cards to local retailers, such as Target or Walmart, are also encouraged. To make an in-kind donation, please call the Development Office at 216.831.2255 or email aschneider@beechbrook.org to set up a drop-off appointment.
Your company, community center, church, or your circle of friends can host a gift drive that will benefit the children served by Beech Brook.
To get started, simply distribute the wish list to those participating in the gift drive. Contact Ashleigh Schneider at aschneider@beechbrook.org or 216.831.2255 ext 2286 for more details.
Gifts of appreciated property typically qualify for an immediate tax deduction and result in the avoidance of tax on appreciation. Property gifts can include personal residences, second homes, income property and vacant land.
The amount of the deduction for a contribution of real estate is normally valued at the current market value of the property. You should always consult with a financial professional or lawyer with regard to the tax implications of any gift.
Donations are deductible for income tax purposes to the extent allowed by law. The IRS does not allow us to place values on your donations.
Beech Brook is always looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers to assist with the planning and implementation of our special events, including the Beech Brook 5K Race and 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk or our Spring Fundraiser.
Please call the Development Department at 216.831.2255 to join with like-minded individuals in fun and rewarding volunteer opportunities.
