Emerging Leaders

“I originally connected with Beech Brook by entering into their school counseling/PATHS program while I was receiving my Master's degree in Social Work at Case Western. My time inside the schools that Beech Brook serves was spent implementing a Social-Emotional curriculum to the youth of the Greater Cleveland area. When my internship was up, I was too inspired by Beech Brook's work to cut ties with them. I now proudly advocate for many of their other amazing programs and am committed to gaining others' support to do the same.”

Danielle Oddo - ELB President, 2021

“I was driven to join the Beech Brook ELB because of my background in social work and appreciation for the work that Beech Brook does in the community. As a mother of two young children and a social worker, I understand the importance of providing support as well as early interventions to young children and their families.”

Alison Potash - ELB Secretary, 2021

“With my background and experiences in education, nonprofit management, public administration, psychology, and now as a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion professional, being a member of the Beech Brook Emerging Leaders Board is one of the best decisions I made in my personal and professional journey.”

Estefany Rodriguez - ELB Secretary, 2020

“After graduate school, I was searching for a community of stakeholders using their diverse skills and backgrounds toward a common goal. I am really drawn to Beech Brook's mission of providing therapeutic and support services to children and families.”

Michael Anne McCann

“I was driven to join the Beech Brook ELB because my expertise in nonprofit research typically has me working behind the scenes, and this offered me a unique opportunity to put my resources into direct action.”
