There may be a history of abuse and neglect or family conflicts. Foster families or biological families whose children are returning from an out-of-home stay or foster families may also find the special support they need during these difficult transitions. Families may be referred to Beech Brook
through other agencies with which they are involved, schools, juvenile courts
or other Beech Brook programs. They may also seek services on their own by
calling the Intake Department. The first step for each family is to talk with
the intake specialist who will schedule an appointment to meet the family,
assess their needs and make recommendations to a treatment team. In For more information about Beech Brook’s outpatient services, contact outpatient@beechbrook.org
