Beech Brook Programs

Since 1852, Beech Brook has been committed to the care and healing of this community's most vulnerable children. Today that work continues through a full range of mental health programs ranging from parent education that strengthens and supports families to intensive residential treatment for the most severely disturbed young children.

Beech Brook's programs include:

  • An intensive treatment unit for the most seriously disturbed children and adolescents;
  • Residential and day treatment for elementary through middle school-age children with serious emotional and behavioral problems;
  • Foster care for children who have been removed from their birth families and who are struggling with emotional and behavioral problems;
  • Adoption placement and support for school-age children and sibling groups;
  • Family preservation in-home therapy for families in crisis;
  • School-based mental health programs providing services to children in elementary schools throughout the Greater Cleveland area;
  • Early childhood services
  • Prevention, education and early intervention programs;
  • Project STRIDE mentoring services for Cuyahoga County children in out-of-home care;
  • Outpatient mental health services;
  • Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team for youth/young adults ages 16-22
